Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has flown to the United States to see a specialist over his foot injury, according to reports.
Henderson injured his foot during the Reds’ win over Bournemouth a month ago, and The Mirror claims the England international flew out to New Jersey on Monday in an attempt to fix the issue.
According to the report, Henderson is still keen to feature for the Reds against Norwich City on Sunday, however, the club are not expecting the midfielder to play.
Despite a strong start to the season, Liverpool have lost its past two matches on the trot against West Ham and Manchester United.
The Mirror reports Henderson if currently finding running painful, and Liverpool want the 25-year-old to get to the bottom of the problem before he takes back to the pitch.
The Reds currently sit 10th on the Premier League table and face Norwich at Anfield on Sunday.
