Liverpool are weighing up a £21.7m move for Lyon attacker Alexandre Lacazette despite already having wrapped up a deal for Christian Benteke, according to reports.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is understood to still be keen to bolster his attacking stocks with Rickie Lambert, Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli all linked with exits from Anfield this summer.
According to Metro [via L’Equipe], Lacazette has now become a key target for the Reds with the Merseyside club keen to complete a £21.7m deal for the French international.
Lacazette is also believed to have interest from Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal, however, the striker stated his desire to remain at Lyon this summer.
Considering Liverpool have snared the signatures of Beneteke and Danny Ings, it seems that a move for the 24-year-old is unlikely.
The Reds still have England international Daniel Sturridge to return from injury, while new signing Roberto Firmino is capable of playing as a striker.
