Liverpool are weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Lucas Digne, according to reports.
The Reds are expected to complete a deal for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke on Wendesday, but Daily Star reports Brendan Rodgers is not yet done in the transfer market and is hoping to clinch a deal for the French left-back.
Liverpool already has Alberto Moreno and new signing Joe Gomez to fill the left-back position, however it seems Rodgers is keen to add more depth with Gomez unproven at Premier League level.
Daily Star claims both Valencia and Roma are interested in the 21-year-old, but it is believed Digne favours a move to the Premier League.
Digne is under contract with the Parisian club until June 2018, however it is reported the French international could become available for a £9m fee.
Liverpool have been extremely active in the transfer market this summer, with James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Bodgan and Joe Gomez already joining the club, while a deal for Aston Villa hitman Benteke is expected to be announced on Wednesday.
