The France international has been in flying form for the under performing Milanese giants this term, bagging himself 16 goals in 32 appearances so far this season.
And it is his impressive return in front of goal that is said to have caught the attention of Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who is looking to overhaul his own front line this summer following a barren return since Luis Suarez departed last year.
The 27-year-old still has two years running on his current deal and reports are suggesting that Rodgers would be willing to splash the cash necessary to secure his signature.
However, Rodgers isn’t the only one being credited with an interest in the former Roma man, as Ligue 1 giants Monaco are also said to be keeping a close eye on developments with the intention of launching their own bid for him at the end of the season.
