The Italian international insisted that he was maturing and becoming more accountable, as he recognised that this might be his final chance to succeed at the top level.
However, news broke on Monday that he was caught speeding at almost twice the speed limit in Brescia, resulting in his license being taken from him.
While it was reported that he had various clauses in his contract to avoid such behaviour when signing with Milan, it appears as though he has escaped punishment from the club.
According to Corriere dello Sera, the Rossoneri’s legal team has evaluated whether or not the striker has violated the ethical code of conduct and have decided not to proceed with any action.
