German international may consider Anfield after Man United and Barcelona moves fell through.
Liverpool are hoping to revive German international Marco Reus’ dream of playing in the Premier League by moving in for his services this summer, reports the Daily Express.
The Reds are hoping to sign a world-class player as a replacement for Barcelona departed Luis Suarez, and they now feel that they have the chance to sign Reus.
The 25-year old had earlier been linked strongly with moves to Manchester United and Barcelona, but the Red Devils had reportedly ended their pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund forward after learning of Barca’s interest.
The Catalan giants though opted for Luis Suarez ahead of Reus, which has left the German wondering about his future.
Reus wants to leave Dortmund for a bigger European club, and the Reds are now hoping to convince him about their ambitions going forward after they rallied to finish 2nd in the Premier League standings last season.
Arsenal are also said to hold an interest in the German, and it remains to be seen how much competition the Reds will face in their big money pursuit of the world class player.
