Aston Villa loan star Tiago Llori has revealed that he is relieved to escape Anfield in order to get some first-team football in the Premier League.
Llori was a £7m signing in 2013, but has yet to make a competitive first-team appearance under Brendan Rodgers.

As a result, he has been sent out on loan to Villa Park this season in order to gain Premier League experience and to finally get back on the pitch playing.
While the Portuguese ace is relieved to make the move, he is still clearly focused on getting his opportunity at Anfield in the future.
“It was all last-minute so I’m relieved that I had such a good option and I’m very happy to be here. I can’t say I know everything about Aston Villa’s history but I know that they’re a very stable team,” he told AVTV.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League and that’s why I signed for Liverpool in the first place. I’m very happy that Aston Villa are hopefully going to give me that chance.”
Tim Sherwood was extremely busy in the summer transfer window, bringing in 11 players to bolster his squad in a bid to avoid another relegation scrap this season.
Whether or not it works remains to be seen, but Llori will be hopeful of playing a bigger role than at Anfield despite competition from Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott.
