Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to give the green light to Lucas Leiva’s exit as the Brazilian’s agent flies out to Milan.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lucas’s agent has already flown out to Milan and will discuss a transfer with the Rossoneri, as reported by Football Italia.

Rivals Inter had reportedly been interested in signing the midfielder in January, but while that move failed to materialise, he could still find himself in Milan ahead of the new season but with the red and black half of the city.
The 28-year-old has a contract until 2017 with Liverpool, but his first-team opportunities are becoming increasingly rare as the club continued to strengthen their squad over the summer.
As a result, with Milan in the market for another central midfielder, it appears as though he could be given a fresh start in Italy with the Serie A giants.
Nevertheless, Milan fans haven’t reacted too kindly to the news given that they believe Lucas plays a similar role to Nigel De Jong.
Coupled with the fact that the club had been linked with a move for Axel Witsel, it is certainly a disappointing turn of events if proved to be true.
