Liverpool transfer news
The Italian international has had a dreadful first season as a Liverpool player, scoring just four goals in twenty games in all competitions after being snapped up for £16m from AC Milan.
The 24-year-old started his career at Inter before embarking on something of a journeyman few years moving between Manchester City, AC Milan and finally Liverpool, though he could now be set for a third spell at the San Siro.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini, who managed Balotelli at both Inter and City, seems willing to take another gamble on the eccentric forward, according to the Daily Mirror, in what could be a risky move for the Serie A club.
Reports also suggest that Jordan Henderson is set to commit his future to Liverpool and sign a new contract worth around £100,000 per week.
