Dulwich Hamlet front man will spend a week with the Reds.
Premier League giants Liverpool are set to offer up and coming striking sensation Daniel Carr a trial on Merseyside, according to exclusive reports in the Daily Mail.
The 18 year old has scored an eye catching 23 goals already in this current season for non league south London based outfit Dulwich Hamlet, form in front of goal that has resulted in a whole host of other Premier League and Championship clubs also taking a look at the centre forward along with the Reds.
In fact, a plethora of top flight and Championship scouts have all been paying many a visit of late to the capital city to run their eye over Carr, although it is Liverpool who have actually followed that interest up with a firm offer to come and train with the club.
Carr will spend a week at Melwood as Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers and his coaching staff take a closer look at the youngster themselves, with a possible view to then making a move for the attacker at the end of this current campaign, which would represent quite a gamble on the Merseysiders’ part seeing as Carr is at present operating eight divisions lower than the Reds are.
