Liverpool are apparently lining up a stunning £30m move for in demand Roma playmaker Miralem Pjanic as they kick off their search for a replacement to Steven Gerrard, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Reports in the Italian capital are claiming that Brendan Rodgers has places the Bosnian international near the top of his wish list of names to take over from the soon to depart midfield talisman.
However, Liverpool are prepared to bide their time and wait until the summer before making a move for his services.
Roma are not thought to be interested in listening to offers for him just yet as they still harbour hopes of being able to catch Juventus in the Serie A title race.
There are suggestions that Pjanic would be keen on a move to the Premier League where he could increase his weekly wage.
Gazzetta claim Pjanic would be earning in the region of €4m per month at Anfield.
