Was very impressive in what was his first Merseyside derby, however couldn’t mark it with a goal despite hitting the bar. Faded in the second half.

Very solid in the middle and sprayed the ball left and right but couldn’t provide the cutting edge Liverpool so sorely needed to get their forwards in.
