Liverpool went two from two in pre-season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brisbane Roar in Australia on Friday.
New signing James Milner teed up Adam Lallana for a fine equaliser and then scored the winner as the Reds won from behind.

GK: Simon Mignolet 6/10
Was beaten by a fairly soft strike as Brisbane took a shock lead, but spent most of the second half as a spectator as his opposite number was called into action on several occasions.
RB: Nathaniel Clyne 5/10
Appeared a little shaky on the ball and shanked several clearances in another unconvincing display at the start of his Liverpool career.
CB: Martin Skrtel 6/10
Brisbane’s attack was fairly mobile and forced Skrtel into a focussed performance. Plays with the same physicality regardless of whether it is a friendly or FA Cup final.
CB: Mamadou Sakho 5.5/10
A threat from set pieces but full of errors as per usual. Any one of several first-half mistakes could have led to a Brisbane goal.
LB: Joe Gomez 7.5/10
The watching Australians might have mistaken young Gomez for the England international full-back. Might just be forcing his way into the first team for the start of the season.
