CB) Dejan Lovren (5) – The former Southampton man is yet to look worth the £20 million that Liverpool paid, with his positioning looking suspect tonight.
LB) Alberto Moreno (4) – A poor debut by young Spanish left back Moreno, who made a horrible individual error for the crucial opening goal and generally struggled defensively.
DCM) Steven Gerrard (5) – Gerrard seemed to be off the pace, losing his man for the opening goal and not having enough of an impact on the game going forward.
