Amazing, the Gerrard of old! Scored a wonderful free kick and got everywhere on the pitch. Looks like the skipper is back with a bang.
Adam Lallana – 7/10
Was involved in a lot of Liverpool’s forays forward, though he still needs to do some convincing.
Jordan Henderson – 7/10
Gelled everything together but played too many awkward balls that his teammates just couldn’t get on board with.
Raheem Sterling – 8/10
So electric, his pace terrified Everton and his crosses should have been better utilised.
