MC) Lucas – 5/10
Gave away fouls, and gave the ball away too. Liverpool badly missed the dynamism of suspended Jordan Henderson in the middle.
MC) Joe Allen – 7/10
Liverpool’s best player. Allen passed the ball excellently, and was unlucky not to score with a swerving half volley. He also showed he can go past players with a number of clever dribbles.
AMR) Coutinho – 5/10
Coutinho enjoyed plenty of the ball, but as the match wore on, and Liverpool’s desperation for a goal increased, Coutinho made too many rash decisions, and gave the ball away often.
