Gerrard is so comfortable in his deep-lying midfield position, now. He sprayed the ball around for fun, and provided his side with an excellent platform from which the wonderful attackers could perform.

Worked tirelessly in midfield, and helped his side tick over possession in the centre excellently. Also grabbed Liverpool’s fourth, when his crossed freekick went straight into the net.
- 10 Coutinho (Allen – 64′ ) – 8
The Brazilian is ludicrously talented, and capped his superb performance with a lovely goal as well, from outside of the box.
