Well worth his goal and proved how good he can be when given a start, reacting first from Speroni’s spill to give Liverpool the lead.
CF: Daniel Sturridge – 7
Getting back to his best after his time out and his fine volley got his side back in it. Could have won a penalty in the first half after some fancy footwork.
LW: Philippe Coutinho – 6
Not his best display in attack but gave plenty of bite and sting going forward. Had a few efforts in the first 45 but faded in the second half.
