Rodgers is keen to reunite with his Swansea stopper Vorm this summer.
Swansea City’s 30-year old goalkeeper Michel Vorm is on the radar of Merseyside club Liverpool, reports the Daily Mail.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wants a ‘keeper who can provide stern competition to his current No.1 Simon Mignolet and the experienced Vorm could be an attractive option.
Their goalkeeping reserves are rather thin at the moment and Rodgers feels that a £5m bid could be enough to prise away the Netherlands international from the Liberty stadium.
It will be interesting to see whether Vorm will be open to the move though as his starting opportunities could reduce drastically at Anfield.
The prospect of playing in the Champions League could attract the stopper however, who might want to move to a bigger club to further his national team ambitions.
The former Utrecht man has 14 caps for the Dutch national team and has been a consistent performer for the Swans since joining them in 2011.
