Barcelona beat Arsenal, Man United & Liverpool to midfield transfer target
They fell, 6-1, to Stoke City after allowing five goals in the first half, which put manager Brendan Rodgers on the hot seat.
Liverpool has plans to be aggressive in the transfer window, and it has been revealed that they are planning to raid Paris Saint-Germain for two of their key players.
The Reds are hoping to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi, and Ibrahimovic reportedly wants to leave PSG despite just leading them to a Ligue 1 championship.
Ibrahimovic scored 19 goals for PSG, which ranked third in Ligue 1 play.
Lavezzi is reportedly eager to leave PSG as well, and both players have a transfer value set at £10.9m.
The Argentine international added another eight goals for PSG, so him and Ibrahimovic joining the Reds would be enough to give them a more prolific scoring attack.
This would undoubtedly be enough to propel them into the top four of the Premier League and the Champions League as well, but it remains to be seen whether other Premier League powerhouses will compete for the PSG stars’ services.
