Former Barca star looks Anfield-bound.
Liverpool look set to complete the free transfer of former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes next month, according to the Daily Mail.
The experienced Spaniard is currently recovering from a long-term injury which has held up his chance of finding a new club during the summer, but it is now thought that he has agreed on a move to Anfield.
The 32-year-old will compete with Simon Mignolet for the number one spot at Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers keen to bring in some backup for the Belgian shot-stopper after a somewhat inconsistent first season at the club last term.
Valdes was also linked with AS Monaco earlier this summer, but a move fell through, and he will now become the latest big-name addition to move to the Premier League this season.
