The Uruguay international scored a sensational four goals against Norwich City in midweek in a virtuoso performance, and will likely be supported by an attacking midfield triumvirate of Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Victor Moses. Raheem Sterling represents an alternate option in that area.
Brendan Rodgers is expected to stick with a back four, as the 3-5-2 formation used previously has been to get the best out of both Suarez and Sturridge. When one is absent, it makes sense to fortify other areas of the team.
John Flanagan is set to continue at left back.
