Liverpool’s projected line-up for the trip to face Spurs in the Premier League.
Liverpool face a crunch visit to White Hart Lane on Tuesday, knowing a win would put daylight between themselves and Andre Villas-Boas’ team, who lead the pack chasing the top four.
After the 4-1 win over West Ham last weekend, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers learned that captain Steven Gerrard faces a month on the sidelines – a major blow – but the Northern Irishman still has plenty of talent at his disposal.
GK: Simon Mignolet
The formidable Belgian is in fine form and made two cracking saves in last weekend’s win over West Ham. Spurs will have to be at their best to find a way past the former Sunderland star.
CB: Mamadou Sakho
The Frenchman has found his feet at Anfield after a shaky start and will be delighted to have bagged a goal in the win over West Ham.
CB: Martin Skrtel
The Slovakian has enjoyed a solid season to date but scored a silly own goal last weekend and will want a more convincing display up against Soldado and co.
CB: Daniel Agger
The Dane is fit again and is likely to be given the nod as the third centre back ahead of fan-favourite Kolo Toure. With Spurs set to play one up front, one of Liverpool’s central three will be able to push forward at times and this is most likely to be Agger.
