AMR) Raheem Sterling
The teenage winger had his best game for over a year up against Kyle Naughton last weekend – so much so – the Spurs’ fullback was put out of his misery by being hauled off at half-time. Sterling will provide Liverpool with pace and directness down the right flank.
AML) Coutinho
Coutinho should play more of a free role, being allowed to drift inside from the left and occupy the position in the hole behind Luis Suarez. He is the creative hub of the team, and the ability to split open Cardiff’s defence with his vision and passing.
FC) Luis Suarez
No surprises up top. With Daniel Sturridge out injured until the new year, Europe’s most in form striker will continue up top. Following his brace against Spurs last Sunday, Suarez has now bagged a ridiculous 17 goals in just 11 Premier League starts. Cardiff City are quaking in their boots already.
