Despite the dram surrounding the player this week, Sterling is expected to start with Brendan Rodgers continually adamant that the England man will definitely see out his final two years despite his want to quit the club as soon as possible and refuse any extension at whatever price.
It remains to be seen how the Reds fans will react and whether Sterling will face the ire of the away support.
