GK – Simon Mignolet
Suffered a shaky start to the season, but has recovered excellently keeping 10 clean sheets throughout the year. The Belgian has been impressive in recent games, including Besiktas and Manchester City.
DRC – Emre Can
Since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen the German has excelled in both the holding midfielder role and at centre back. Rarely wastes a pass and isn’t afraid to get stuck in, if he keeps up his form then his side won’t be far off a Champions League spot.
DLC – Dejan Lovren
The Croatian’s season has not gone exactly how he would have hoped, especially considering his impressive performances at Southampton. Did well to pick himself up from his Besiktas penalty disappointment this weekend and, with Sakho unlikely to be fit to start, he should retain his place.
DC – Martin Skrtel
First choice centre back for Brendan Rodgers this season, without disappointing. His presence will be vital in keeping continuity at the back for the Reds.
