PSG will need to sell at least one member of their squad to finance a huge move for Argentine winger Angel di Maria from Real Madrid, meaning that his international teammate Lavezzi could be available for potential Premier League suitors.
Liverpool have seen a recent potential move for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy fall through due to the concerns about the Frenchman’s fitness, which could open up a space in the Liverpool squad for Lavezzi to arrive as part of the package that Brendan Rodgers is putting together to replace Luis Suarez.
Chelsea, meanwhile, look set to allow Romelu Lukaku leave the club, meaning that their could be room in Jose Mourinho’s big squad for one more attacking player.
Lavezzi is versatile enough to cover both the lone striker and attacking midfield positions in Jose Mourinho’s favoured 4-2-3-1 system, potentially making the £18m man an option for the Blues.
Mourinho was reportedly impressed by Lavezzi’s performances against his club in Chelsea’s narrow Champions League quarter final victory over PSG, and may now have his opportunity to unite with the former Napoli star.
