Brendan Rodgers looking to sign Stoke star Asmir Begovic.
Liverpool are hoping to replace underperforming goalkeeper Simon Mignolet when the January transfer window opens, report the Daily Star, with a £15 million move for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on the cards for Brendan Rodgers and the Reds.

Having been unimpressed by the club’s summer transfer dealings, that has seen money squandered and the likes of Dejan Lovren and Mario Balotelli, owner John W. Henry has reportedly told Brendan Rodgers that he needs to sell to buy, however, meaning that Glen Johnson and Fabio Borini could depart Anfield to finance a move for Begovic.
The Bosnian international has been consistently one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League over the last five years for the Potters and should be a step up on Mignolet, who has made a number of high profile errors recently.
