England attacker has been at the club since Jan 2011.
Unwanted Liverpool front man Andy Carroll should complete his protracted £15 million move to West Ham United at some point this week, says The Times.
The giant England international has been away on holiday of late, but returns to the UK this week to undergo a medical with the Hammers and then discuss personal terms over his move to Upton Park.
The Merseyside giants have reached a compromise with the East End club over the value of the forward as head coach Brendan Rodgers is said to be so desperate to bring in funds in order to go ahead with his £23 million capture of coveted Shakhtar Donetsk midfield player Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
However, Carroll will also have to do some compromising himself if the deal is to go through, as West Ham are still unwilling to meet his £100,000 per week wage demands.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a fine season on loan with London outfit in the previous campaign, scoring seven goals in his 23 Premier League appearances, helping the club to remain in the top flight.
