Brendan Rodgers is still reportedly keen to bring in another custodian at the end of the season to replace either Brad Jones or Simon Mignolet, and the club have set aside the necessary funds for such a player.
Reports in Enyeama’s native Nigeria are already linking him with a £3m switch to Anfield after Reds scouts were impressed with the 32-year-old’s performances in between the sticks this term.
Both Arsenal and Spurs had previously been linked with a move for him, but it now appears that Liverpool are the frontrunners.
