Reds feels forward may have broken his contract.
Liverpool are said to be seething over reports in Spain that front man Luis Suarez has already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid over his muted summer transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu, says the Daily Telegraph.
The controversial Uruguay international is currently out in Brazil representing his country at the Confederations Cup, although Suarez’s involvement came to an end on Wednesday night following a 2-1 loss to the host nation in the semi-finals.
However, the Merseysiders are reportedly angry about a recent report in the Madrid-based sports paper Marca, which is often used by the Spanish giants as a voice piece to their fans updating them on their various bits of transfer business, suggesting that the 26-year-old has been discussing personal terms without the Reds’ specific agreement.
Suarez, who has registered an impressive 51 goals and 24 assists in his 96 matches in all competitions for Liverpool since joining the club from Ajax in Jan 2011, has a contract at Anfield that runs until June 2018 and the player would be breaking the terms of that deal were he to have held talks with los Blancos behind the Reds’ backs.
