Reds step up interest in Blues misfit.
Liverpool are reportedly ‘serious’ about re-signing Fernando Torres from Chelsea in the January transfer window as his loan spell at AC Milan looks to be cut short, according to the Daily Mail.

Liverpool transfer news
The Reds need more firepower upfront this winter after a terrible start to the season from the likes of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert, while Daniel Sturridge’s absence through injury has cost Brendan Rodgers’ side dearly.
Torres may not be the most obvious solution to Liverpool’s problems at the moment given his own poor form, but the Spaniard was a hit at Anfield in his first spell at the club.
Still, his career has gone badly downhill since he made the £50m move to Stamford Bridge in 2011, and he has struggled again this season since moving on loan to Milan, a deal which may already be terminated despite initially being set up to last two years.
With Milan not keen to keep him at the San Siro, Liverpool may now pounce for this risky signing.
