Vidal has been in stellar form for the Serie A champions this season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in all competitions.
According to Metro, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to sign the Chilean international as a replacement for LA Galaxy-bound skipper Steven Gerrard.
The Reds are believed to have submitted a £14.4m bid for the 27-year-old, however Juventus bosses are understood to be wanting a fee in the region on £25m.
Metro’s report suggests Liverpool are willing to match the £25m valuation, with Rodgers hoping former Bayer Leverkusen man can help push the Reds back into the Champions League.
Vidal helped Juventus to a 2-1 Coppa Italia final win over Lazio on Wednesday and has the chance to win the treble with the Italian giants when they take on Barcelona in the Champions League final next month.
