Reds reportedly targeting move for Sampdoria star Sergio Romero.

Romero was actually sent out on loan from Sampdoria to Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco last season, where he was largely cover for Danijel Subasic, but he has reclaimed his position for Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Serie A high flyers since his return to the club.
As number one for Argentina at the World Cup he really caught the eye and could well have the requisite and experience and skill set to come into Anfield and solve what has become a real conundrum for Rodgers, with Australian Jones not having covered himself in glory since coming into the side for Mignolet.
