Origi set to head to Boston to finalise £10 million move.
Belgian striker Divock Origi is set to follow Loic Remy to Boston, USA, to complete his transfer to Liverpool this week, reports the Daily Express.
The Reds are in their pre-season training camp in the US, and have reportedly finalised the double striker swoop at a reasonable price of £18.5 million.
Origi is said to have impressed Kop boss Brendan Rodgers at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and would possibly be sent back on-loan to his current club Lille for this season before returning to Anfield.
Liverpool have already signed the likes of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic in a bid to strengthen their squad for the Champions League this season, but it seems as though Rodgers is set for a big spending spree as he is already in the process of landing two more targets.
There are no indications that the Northern Irishman will halt his spending with the strike duo as he still has to refurbish his defence ahead of next season, and is lining up transfers for Saints’ centre-back Dejan Lovren as well as Atletico Madrid’s young full back Javier Manquillo.
