Luis Suarez has again expressed his desire to join Real Madrid, after declaring his admiration for the club.
Luis Suarez has again hinted he would be interested in a move to La Liga side Real Madrid, after he admitted that it would be hard to turn down a move to the Bernabeu, reports Sky Sports.
The Uruguayan has already expressed his desire to leave Liverpool this summer, due in large part to the way he is treated by the media, and has dropped his biggest hint yet that Madrid is his preferred choice.
Speaking to reporters this week, the 26-year old said: “I’m not sure if I see myself in the white (of Real Madrid), the only thing I know is that I have a contract.”
“Any player would like to play for a great team and Real Madrid certainly are that.
“Every player wants to reach the very top and Real Madrid are at the very top, but everything that has been said is just rumours, I have had nothing concrete.
“Obviously Real Madrid is a great team and every player dreams about them; Real Madrid is Real Madrid and it’s as high as you can go as a player and they will always tempt you.”
Suarez is still to serve six matches of his 10 game ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in May.
Suarez scored 23 Premier League goals this season, however after a number of controversial incidents surrounding the South American, it may be time for the Anfield club and Suarez to part ways.
