Mario Balotelli has risked angering Liverpool fans by showing his support for Raheem Sterling after his debut goal for Manchester City.
Sterling scored inside three minutes on his first City appearance since his bitter departure from Anfield – a 2-2 draw against AS Roma in the International Champions Cup this morning.

The England international and his outspoken agent Aidy Ward were accused of disrespecting the club in their attempts to force through his £49m transfer to the Etihad Stadium.
But Balotelli has urged the Kop to let bygones be bygones on Twitter this afternoon.
Well done @sterling31 ! Best answer. Keep it up.

Balotelli is not exactly a favourite with the Liverpool fans himself, having only managed one Premier League goal last season following his £16m arrival from AC Milan.
