Reds midfielder says he will remain at the club next season.
Liverpool youngster Suso has revealed he’s received offers to leave Anfield but wants to stay at the club after a fine season for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The 19-year-old made 20 appearances for the Reds this term, including 16 in the league, but the youngster had a frustrating second half of the season and managed just three senior appearances in 2013 after being demoted to the under-21 squad.
The Spaniard’s progress has got gone unnoticed in his homeland and the playmaker, who has represented Spain at under-20 level, has been linked with a move to La Liga this summer – a switch that could see the teenager get more playing time.
But Suso has insisted he is happy on Merseyside and says he has enjoyed his debut season in the Premier League.
“This year for me has been beyond fantastic,” Suso is quoted as saying by Sky Sports. “At Liverpool this season has been great and I’m very happy.
“Next year I’ll probably stay at Liverpool. I know there are quite a few offers but I will not go. I’m happy at Liverpool.”
