Anfield star ties himself down to Merseyside club.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has signed a new long term contract according to the BBC.

Suarez’s previous deal was set to come to an end in 2016 but the Uruguayan has now committed himself to a four and a half years and will see the 26 year old earn £160k a week for the remainder of the current season and then £200k a week for the remaining four years of the deal.
The in-form forward has netted a phenomenal 17 goals in 11 Premier League fixtures and has stated his excitement at having tied himself down to the Anfield club on a long term basis.
“I am delighted to have agreed a new deal with Liverpool and have my future secured for the long term”,
“I believe I can achieve the ambitions of winning trophies and playing at the very highest level with Liverpool. My aim is to help get us there as quickly as possible.”
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers also voiced his joy at Suarez signing a new deal, stating;
“Luis is a world-class talent and securing his services is crucial for what we are trying to achieve here”
“What’s most important and most exciting is that, at just 26 years old, his best years are still ahead of him and we now know we’ll be seeing him reach that potential in a Liverpool shirt.”
Liverpool paid £22.8m to sign Suarez from Ajax back in January 2011 and the lethal finisher has made 109 appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring 68 goals in the process.
