Liverpool are set to face Arsenal at the Emirates on Monday, and the stakes are high as the Reds will look to maintain an undefeated record.
Reds striker Danny Ings expressed his excitement for the Reds’ crucial match.
“As you can imagine, [the mood has] been fantastic,” Ings said, according to the Daily Star.
“Two wins from the first two games, two clean sheets, it’s really important, especially after that first game at Stoke – there was that added pressure from last year.”
Ings was signed from Burnley on a free transfer, however, he is yet to make an appearance for the Reds at Premier League level.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are seeking to make it two wins on the trot following its shock season-opening loss to West Ham United.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has overhauled his squad over the summer, bringing in the likes of Christian Benteke, James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez and Ings.
However, the Gunners have a new major addition of their own in goalkeeper Petr Cech.
