Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi has been the subject of an offer, but it isn’t Liverpool who have reportedly made the bid.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have made their approach for the Spaniard as they continue to try and bolster their squad.

Man United star blasts critics: Striker under pressure to produce.
The Serie A champions lost Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal earlier this summer, and so although they have already brought in Sami Khedira, they still feel that their midfield can be strengthened.
That is bad news for Liverpool who had reportedly been monitoring Illarramendi, with the midfield ace potentially being forced to consider his future away from the Bernabeu in the next week or so.
After Madrid signed Mateo Kovacic from Inter, the Spaniard’s first-team opportunities are expected to be severely limited.
As a result, a fresh start and a new challenge elsewhere could be appealing, with both Liverpool and Juve pushing to acquire his services.
It remains to be seen if news of Juve’s offer alerts Brendan Rodgers, with the Reds boss likely to have to move quickly in order to avoid missing out.
