Liverpool have suffered a blow in their pursuit of PSG star Lucas Digne after Roma opted to enter the race to sign him.
The left-back’s agent conceded this week that his client wasn’t 100 percent happy at the club, and so that in turn sparked speculation that he could be moving on this summer.

The 22-year-old is reportedly worth around €10m, but it has now been revealed that Liverpool haven’t been given permission to discuss a deal with the talented youngster.
“I cannot name names, but many clubs are interested in him. We’ll see what happens. What I can confirm is that Lucas is not 100 per cent happy with the situation in Paris,” Mikkel Beck said, according to Football Italia.
Roma do have the upper-hand in the race though given that coach Rudi Garcia has already worked with Digne during their time together at Lille.
Whether or not a reunion appeals to the starlet remains to be seen, but it is certain that he will be handed more opportunities should he decide to leave the French capital behind ahead of the new campaign.
