Following discussions in London between representatives of Liverpool and Barcelona, the Spanish giants have made an opening £72m bid for last season’s Premier League Player of the Year Luis Suarez.
The player is keen on a move, and it now remains to be seen whether the Reds push for more money, or try and include Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez as part of the deal.
