Liverpool locked in battle with Arsenal for Costa Rica hero
If Liverpool fail to sign Mexican stopper Guillermo Ochoa, they could turn their attention to Costa Rica hero Keylor Navas. The Express are reporting that the Reds will go head to head with Arsenal for the Levante stopper who has a £6.5 million buy-out clause in his contract. Navas has been one of the stars of Costa Rica’s surprise run to the World Cup quarter finals, conceding just two goals in four games so far.
Rodgers to rival Tottenham’s bid for Swansea trio
Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Swansea trio Wilfried Bony, Ben Davies and Michel Vorm, who are all attracting interest from Tottenham. The Welsh side are thought to be demanding close to £50 million for the trio, with star striker Bony rated at a minimum fee of £25 million. The Daily Mail have revealed Liverpool’s interest.
