Ince is also on the radar of Cardiff, Stoke and Swansea.
Blackpool winger Tom Ince has held talks with both Stoke City and Swansea City over a loan move, but now Cardiff City and Liverpool have entered the chase, according to talkSPORT.
The 21-year-old’s current deal with the Seasiders expires in the summer and the club have allowed Ince to have discussions with teams over a move.
The England under-21 international has been spotted at both Stoke and Swansea as the attacker decides where to make the switch, although the Reds have stepped up the interest in their former player.
Ince was a product of the youth academy at Anfield, but managed just one first team appearance for the club before being sold to Blackpool in 2011.
It’s this reason that has made the starlet unsure about a return to Merseyside, as the player worries about the amount of game time that will be on offer.
However, with Brendan Rodgers’ men in a realistic position of achieving Champions League football this term, they could well be a more attractive proposition than relegation candidates Cardiff, Stoke and Swansea.
Rodgers is desperately trying to sign another winger after missing out on Mohamed Salah at the 11th hour as Chelsea swooped in with an £11m offer.
The manager confirmed after the 4-0 derby victory over Everton on Tuesday that the club would be making a ‘major’ signing before the January transfer window shuts.
“I think we will hopefully do something over the next couple of days,” Rodgers was quoted by the Metro.
“Hopefully we can have a major signing before the window shuts and if we can do that we will be set up for the remaining games.”
