Nevertheless, they will have quickly switched their focus to West Ham, with Slaven Bilic arriving under some early pressure.
Despite defeating the Gunners away from home on the opening weekend of the season, the Hammers have now lost to Leicester and Bournemouth and have had rumblings off the pitch to further distract them.
It doesn’t look good as they prepare for the trip to Anfield, and the home side will be looking to take advantage of their current plight and piling further misery on them.

Captain Jordan Henderson is expected to remain sidelined with a foot injury, while Adam Lallana will join him in the treatment room after picking up a thigh strain earlier this week.
To add to West Ham’s woes, they have won just two of the last 13 meetings between these two sides, while their last victory at Anfield came back in 1963. As a result, Bilic will have to come up with something special to end that barren run.
