Reds want wing ace Cuadrado…

Liverpool have earmarked Fiorentina’s Colombian star Juan Guillermo Cuadrado as a potential summer transfer signing, reports the Mirror.
The 25-year-old is comfortable in a number of positions, and has been deployed all over the pitch for his Serie A club this season.
He’s performed at right wing-back, central midfield, and on either flank as an attacking inside forward. His versatility is outstanding, and will no doubt have impressed Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who prefers his players to be able to perform a number of roles, even interchanging positions between matches.
From his varying roles, the Colombian has scored seven goals for the Viola this term, alerting the attention of the Premier League title contenders.
According to the report, it would take a bid of up to £20m for his services, but with Liverpool almost certain to be playing Champions League football next term, the manager will be backed with funds to increase his thin squad.
Despite Liverpool’s excellent season, Rodgers has little in terms of backup for his starting XI, with the likes of Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto not providing adequate reserve options for Raheem Sterling, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
Cuadrado is exceptionally quick, so would add even more pace to an already brilliantly dynamic squad. He prides himself on his technical ability and trickery, and when on form, he can go past players seemingly at will. He regularly attempts dribbles, trying nearly four every match, although this does naturally mean he is dispossessed occasionally too, making his side vulnerable on the counter attack.
if Liverpool fans go ahead with their interest in the Colombian, fans will be able to get a first glimpse of him at this summer’s World Cup, where barring injury, he’s nailed on to start.
Cuadrado is actually owned jointly by Fiorentina and Udinese, so Liverpool would have to agree a fee with both of the Italian sides to capture him.
