Ipswich Town wonderkid Teddy Bishop has emerged as a key transfer target for Liverpool, with the club prepared to pay £10m to land the 18-year-old, according to the Mirror.

Despite his young age the midfielder has broken into Mick McCarthy’s first team this season and so far in 2014/15 has made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Championship side.
Bishop is the second talented youngster to attract the interest of the Premier League elite in recent times, with defender Tyrone Mings wanted by Arsenal as they look to bolster their back line.
The Gunners have also shown interest in Mings’ teenage teammate – along with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur – but the Reds have made the first move and are the favourites to secure his signature.
Bishop is a product of the Tractor Boys’ youth academy, breaking into the first team this season after impressing for the Under-18s.
