Liverpool play their first home fixture of the 2015-16 season this evening when they take on Bournemouth in the second Monday Night Football clash of the Premier League campaign.
The Reds were victorious, but largely unspectacular as they edged past Stoke City last weekend, so manager Brendan Rodgers could opt to make changes to his starting XI.
Here is how our friends at top Liverpool blog Empire of the Kop expect Liverpool to line-up against the Cherries…

5 issues Liverpool must address before transfer window closes – sales needed, potential signing assessed
GK – Simon Mignolet
The Belgian international was rarely troubled in the Reds’ win over Stoke City and will retain his place in between the sticks. Adam Bogdan has reportedly impressed in training since joining the club and Mignolet will not want to slip up.
RB – Nathaniel Clyne
Clyne put in a strong performance in Liverpool’s season opener and there’s no doubt he’ll be looking to push higher up the pitch at Anfield against the Premier League new boys.
LB – Joe Gomez
The 18-year-old was solid in the 1-0 win over Stoke and will likely retain his place over Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno. Rodgers will likely leave the former Charlton man out of the starting XI at some point to minimise the risk of burnout, but he will surely start at Anfield on Monday.
CB – Martin Skrtel
Skrtel looked to be back to his best last week and will be looking to form a strong partnership alongside Dejan Lovren this season. The Slovakian international had a couple of iffy moments against the Potters, but he is a certainty to start in the heart of the Reds defence.
CB – Dejan Lovren
The Croatian international looked much improved at the Britannia on the Premier League’s opening day and will likely continue on in the centre of Liverpool’s defence next to Skrtel.
