It’s easy to forget just how good a player the Cameroonian midfielder is, because of his lack of playing time at the Nou Camp. Behind the likes of Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta and Fabregas, Song has only been given 11 starts in La Liga this term, and it’s likely that he will seek a move away from the club to play the first-team football his talent deserves.
He can play as a holding midfielder, but he has the technical ability and vision to play creative passes from the base of midfield.
The Reds may face a battle with Manchester United for his signature though, and even former club Arsenal could join the race for the 26-year-old’s signature.
